Extending my growing season is a must for me as a New England gardener. I love cheating nature just a bit this time of the year. Every Thanksgiving I have fresh vegetables in my dinner table. I know it's hard to believe considering I live in Boston, but it's true. My neighbor Mark grew lettuce all winter using these winter gardening techniques.
