Fall is the time to plant garlic, and we're pretty sure that once you taste homegrown garlic, you'll never want to buy it at the supermarket again. And garlic is so easy to grow.

In this video, farmer Joe Smith, of Smith's Acres in Niantic, Connecticut, demonstrates how grow your own garlic from a clove. He discusses the difference between hardneck and softneck varieties, shows you how to select the best cloves, and covers planting depth.
